Job summary

Hitachi Energy Jefferson City, MO is seeking a Corporate Real Estate CAPEX Project/ Facility Operations Manager to lead large and small capital projects, coordinate with architects and contractors, and ensure alignment with timelines and budgets.

You will also oversee construction oversight, quality control, contract administration, and safety compliance while growing into broader facility management responsibilities across North America. On-site work is required with travel up to 30%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, facility management, engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years in project management, construction, or facility management.
• On-site presence Monday–Friday in Jefferson City, MO.
• Experience with budgeting, scheduling, and contract administration.
• CFM or PMP certifications are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate capital projects with owners and stakeholders.
• Oversee contract preparation and management.
• Monitor progress, schedule adherence, and budget stewardship.
• Conduct site inspections and ensure quality standards.
• Track expenses and manage accounts payable within shared tools.
• Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Support facility operations through budgeting and stakeholder relations.
