Job summary

Hitachi Energy is seeking a Corporate Real Estate CAPEX Project/ Facility Operations Manager in Jefferson City, MO. This role leads capital projects and facility operations across North America, coordinating with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure budget, scope, and schedule alignment, while supporting safe and sustainable facility practices.

You'll guide construction oversight, contract administration, and risk mitigation, with potential expansion into broader facility management

Qualifications

• Work authorization that permits employment in the United States.
• Bachelor's degree in construction management, facility management, engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in project management, construction, facility management, or related areas.
• Solid understanding of construction methods, materials, regulations, building systems, and maintenance procedures.
• Proven communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills with ability to manage multiple tasks/teams.
• Experience using project management software, CRE tools, and AP systems.
• Certifications such as CFM or PMP are advantageous.
• On-site Monday-Friday at Jefferson City, MO.

Responsibilities

• Plan and oversee capital projects from scope to budget and schedule.
• Manage contracts and ensure obligations are met.
• Monitor construction progress and budget stewardship with site reviews.
• Conduct site inspections and enforce quality standards.
• Track expenses and identify cost-saving opportunities within shared-service tools.
• Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies for safety and compliance.
• Coordinate with owners, contractors, and internal teams for clarity and alignment.
• Support facility operations through maintenance oversight and stakeholder relations.
