Job summary

The Estée Lauder Companies is seeking a Senior Lead Capability Design Architect to define and govern technical blueprints for a designated domain, ensuring fit-to-standard and clean-core principles while enabling cloud extensions and APIs. You will mentor junior architects and drive GenAI adoption across architectural workflows.

You will collaborate with Product Managers, PTLs, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into modular designs, govern ERP configurations, and lead design

Qualifications

• Advanced capability to model end-to-end domain technical architectures using TOGAF or SAP EA frameworks.
• Deep technical proficiency in designing side-by-side extensions (SAP BTP, cloud microservices), defining REST/GraphQL API contracts.
• Proficiency in using ChatGPT Enterprise and AI development tools to accelerate technical specification drafting.
• Proven ability to review, audit, and benchmark system integrator technical designs, SOW proposals, and code artifacts.
• Lead workshops to gather business requirements and conduct Fit/Gap analysis for global and regional deployments.
• Support global SAP implementations, enhancement releases, and business transformation initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Define, maintain, and execute the 3-year technical capability vision and architectural roadmap for the assigned domain and sub-domains.
• Partner with Domain Directors, PMs, and PTLs to align technical designs with business roadmaps.
• Track and model Total Cost of Ownership across domain platforms and identify latent technical debt.
• Lead domain-level Value Stream Mapping exercises to identify data latency and integration friction.
• Maintain and govern the inventory of technology products, components, and integrations within the domain boundary.
• Audit technical solution designs and estimates provided by partners; present designs at Architecture Review Boards.
• Implement platform telemetry metrics to monitor system performance and quality.
• Identify and implement Generative AI use cases within the domain and mentor architects.
