Job summary

The Estée Lauder Companies is seeking a Technical Director Capability Design Architect to define overarching technical blueprints and govern global, scalable architectures across major brands and platforms.

Reporting to TDA leadership, the role champions Fit to Standard principles, cloud extensibility, and AI-driven automation, while guiding senior architects and shaping enterprise design governance.

Qualifications

• Mastery in designing large-scale enterprise architectures across hybrid multi-cloud systems, ERPs, and high-throughput engines.
• Authority in side-by-side extension patterns and enterprise API gateways.
• Experience governing SAP S/4HANA Finance capabilities and integration points.

Responsibilities

• Define multi-year technical blueprints for flagship platforms ensuring high availability and global scalability.
• Lead architectural standards enforcing Fit to Standard principles and cloud extensibility.
• Audit vendor proposals and design reviews to protect IP and ensure technical quality.
• Mentor architects across the organization and drive AI-enabled architectural automation.
