Job summary

CACI is seeking a CAN/WAN Network Tier 3 to support implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of IT networks across CAN/LAN environments. Responsibilities include designing architectures, providing Tier 3 support, and ensuring high availability and security in line with government standards.

The role requires 10+ years of experience, TS/SCI with Poly, and DoD 8140/8570 compliance. Local travel up to 10% may be required, with potential deployments to CONUS sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• 10+ years of related work experience.
• TS/SCI with Poly required.
• DoD 8140.01 and 8570.01-M, IAT II required.
• Strong routing and switching protocols knowledge (OSPF, BGP, VLAN, Spanning Tree, etc.).
• Advanced TCP/IP knowledge.
• Deep knowledge of network hardware (routers, switches).
• Certifications such as CCNP, CCIE or similar are highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and optimize CAN/LAN network architectures for high availability and performance.
• Provide Tier 3 support for CAN/LAN infrastructure, including troubleshooting and resolution of complex issues.
• Respond to escalated tickets promptly with clear, transparent communication to stakeholders.
• Analyze latency, bandwidth bottlenecks, and packet loss; implement fixes.
• Maintain network configurations, documents, and remediation procedures.
