Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/CE or equivalent practical experience.
• 7+ years software development experience; or PhD with 4+ years.
• 3+ years camera software engineering experience.
• Experience in C/C++ development and debugging.
• Experience leading large or complex projects.
• Experience building camera systems for AR/VR/mobile platforms.
• Experience optimizing ISP and ML algorithms for camera products.
• Experience with end-to-end camera ISP pipelines.
• Experience with sensor calibration models and camera characterization.
• Experience with Qualcomm hardware and CamX; real-time embedded software.
• Ability to integrate AI tools to optimize workflows.
• Adherence to responsible AI practices.
• Continual AI skill development and staying current.

Responsibilities

• Own architecture and end-to-end camera pipelines across devices.
• Collaborate with hardware, algorithms, and product teams to ship camera experiences at scale.
• Lead complex, ambiguous problems spanning perception, image quality, ISP pipelines, and sensor calibration.
• Deliver high-quality camera experiences at scale across AR/VR/mobile devices.
• Define goals and milestones for large camera projects and lead teams to meet them.
