Job summary

Meta Reality Labs is advancing the next generation of AR wearables with a focus on camera modules and display systems. You will lead technical aspects of camera design from specifications to validation, coordinating with architecture, sensors, optics, and validation teams to ensure robust integration into the overall AR system.

Ideal candidates have 8+ years in consumer hardware development, strong data-analysis skills, and hands-on experience with camera module design, ISP tuning, and imaging

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Optics, Imaging Science, Physics, Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 8+ years hands-on hardware development in consumer electronics.
• Experience with camera module design principles and image quality.
• Experience communicating with cross-functional groups and with Asia-based suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership for camera modules as the primary contact for technical aspects.
• Define detailed camera module specifications aligned with system architecture.
• Analyze build data to validate design and drive iterative improvements.
• Coordinate with architecture, sensor, mechanical, electrical, optical, validation, and other teams to ensure seamless integration.
