Job summary

Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) seeks a Senior Project Management Specialist, CAM IPT Lead for the Common Products Group in El Segundo, CA. You will manage cost/schedule, coordinate suppliers and cross-functional teams to deliver subsystems on time and within budget.

Requirements include a BA/BS, 10+ years in program/project management, and experience with EVM; relocation is possible and travel occasional. This is an onsite role with a focus on delivering high-stakes space hardware.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 10+ years of experience in program management, project management and/or business operations.
• Experience working in ambiguous and fast-changing environments.
• Experience with lab and factory operation management.

Responsibilities

• Manages cost & schedule while leading the design team’s execution on a payload and/or platform subsystem; develops program structures, top-level plans and execution plans.
• Demonstrates high proficiency in project management areas per industry standards (Earned Value Management) and coordinates project deliverables and accounting.
• Builds collaborative relationships inside and outside the organization to promote program goals and trust among stakeholders.
• Provides deep analysis of projects with lessons learned and historical reports for future plans.
• Develops solutions to highly complex problems that require ingenuity and innovation.
