Job summary

Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking a Sr Principal Control Account - Project Manager to lead CAM-based budgeting and earned value management on complex programs. The role focuses on integrating schedules with engineering and program teams, forecasting labor, and preparing EVM artifacts for monthly reporting.

The position requires strong EV experience, familiarity with cost-plus and FP contract vehicles, and the ability to obtain a US government clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required
• 8 years of relevant experience; 6 years with a Master's degree
• Experience with cost plus and firm fixed price contract vehicles
• Labor/material earned value management experience
• Experience with Agile methodologies and practices
• Ability to develop and manage schedule tasks
• Experience using Microsoft Project
• Proficiency with Jira and Confluence

Responsibilities

• Establish budget baselines for Engineering functions with CAM and report EV metrics
• Manage, track and report earned value metrics
• Support program integrated baseline reviews
• Forecast labor with engineering and program leaders
• Manage integrated master schedules and status reporting
• Assess software project issues/risks and develop resolutions
• Prepare Contract Data Requirements Lists and Basis of Estimates
• Prepare monthly EVM artifacts and reporting
• Support labor and material program control accounts
