Job summary

Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking a Control Account - Project Manager – Level 3 or 4 to support programs using CAM and EVM. This onsite role at the Colorado Springs, CO facility focuses on budgeting, scheduling, and performance reporting.

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree with several years of relevant experience, knowledge of cost-type contracts, and experience with Agile practices. A US government security clearance is preferred, with surge capability for DoD systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field is required.
• Experience with earned value management and contract types (cost-plus, firm fixed price).
• Ability to obtain and maintain US government security clearance.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and scheduling tools.
• Strong scheduling, forecasting, and program control skills.

Responsibilities

• Establish budget baselines for Engineering functions with CAM best practices.
• Manage, track and report earned value metrics.
• Support program integrated baseline reviews.
• Forecast labor with engineering and program leaders.
• Manage integrated master schedules and reporting.
• Monitor and report program schedule status.
• Assess software project issues/risks and develop resolutions.
• Prepare Basis of Estimates and reporting for proposals.
