This senior technical architect role shapes desktop and web CAE applications, drives GPU architecture, and leads a team to deliver high-performance software. The role requires deep experience in desktop architectures, 3D rendering, and cross-team leadership, with onsite work in Los Angeles.

Qualifications

• Sr Principal level experience in desktop software architecture.
• Experience creating high-performing, interactive 3D desktop CAE/PLM apps.
• Strong understanding of graphics/3D rendering pipelines and UI architecture.
• Ability to architect complex systems and delegate across engineering teams.
• Familiarity with Siemens NX and Teamcenter CAE ecosystems.

Responsibilities

• Architect and design high-performing, interactive 3D desktop and web CAE applications for the DES suite.
• Architect scalable GPU job architecture for clustered GPUs.
• Implement core application frameworks and delegate development through the team.
• Drive faster creation of complex desktop applications through hands-on leadership.
• Ensure industrial-grade quality, usability, and performance across desktop tools.
• Align architecture with DES strategy and prevent fragmented ownership.
• Mentor engineers on desktop-app best practices.
• Partner with DES/Platform IPT leadership to integrate architecture with long-term goals.
