Job summary

NVIDIA is seeking a Software/CAD Tool Engineer in Circuits Solutions Group to build tools that boost productivity for custom circuit designs. You will engage with cross-functional teams to ensure robustness across product lines and own the full tool lifecycle from data storage to UI and deployment.

The role requires 3+ years of experience and strong C++, Python, Tcl skills, plus GUI and database development experience. On-site in Santa Clara, with equity and benefits offered.

Qualifications

• B.Sc./M.Sc. preferred in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of relevant experience.
• Good programming skills in multiple languages (C++, Tcl, Python, or other scripting languages).
• Prior experience with tool development including GUI, database management, testing and deployment is required.
• Familiar with AI models for code development and reviews.

Responsibilities

• Work within a multi-functional team on Pre-silicon and Post-Silicon hardware design data.
• Support projects with silicon data analysis, process variation analysis, VLSI design analysis, timing analysis, etc.
• Develop leading-edge EDA/CAD tools for chip development.
• Collaborate with Backend engineers to support development infrastructure and improvements.
• Own full life-cycle of tool development: data storage design, UI design, testing, deployment, maintenance.
