NVIDIA is hiring a CAD Engineer for the Advanced Technology Group to support foundry techfiles, debug tool and design errors, and develop flows to boost productivity for global designers.

The role requires an EE/CS background, with strong skills in Perl and C++, plus TCL. You will work with key EDA tools and vendors, writing automation scripts, and improving design processes across cutting-edge technologies.

Competenze

• B.S. in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent experience); MS preferred.
• 2+ years of work experience.
• Strong understanding of mosfet device behavior, CMOS layout, and VLSI design.
• Excellent programming skills; experience with Perl, Cadence SKILL, C++, TCL.

Mansioni

• Install, configure, and support foundry techfiles.
• Debug design errors and explain issues to designers and partners.
• Custom edit foundry techfiles to implement NVIDIA methodologies.
• Support CAD tools used by IC designers (Virtuoso, IC-Manage, DRC/LVS, extractions, spice).
• Collaborate with CAD tool vendors to resolve bugs and evaluate new tools.
• Develop infrastructure to support design work in new process technologies.
• Write scripts using Perl, Cadence SKILL, and C++.
