Job summary

Lou-Rich Inc. in Minnesota is seeking a CAD Drafter to generate detailed drawings and CAD models from sketches and layouts. You will ensure dimensions, tolerances, and material specs meet engineering standards, under supervision.

Responsibilities include preparing assembly drawings, parts lists, and customer approval drawings using SolidWorks, ERP and MS Office tools, and supporting manufacturing engineers with revisions.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years college in mechanical drawing helpful.
• On-the-job experience may substitute formal training.
• Ability to move from concept to finished drawing with layouts and tolerances.
• Minimum five years on-the-job experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare a variety of detailed drawings from sketches and layouts.
• Create assembly drawings and parts lists; assist in other duties.
• Perform geometric, trigonometric, or algebraic calculations per standard procedures.
• Use standard drafting tools and CAD software, including SolidWorks.
• Provide technical assistance to the engineering department.
• Review customer drawings and maintain product masters; implement revisions.
