Horsepower Automotive Group (HPAG) is seeking a CAD Designer Lead for our Chandler, Arizona facility to turn bold ideas into manufacturable reality. You will own the design process end-to-end, from concept through 3D modeling to production-ready drawings, working closely with prototype engineering and manufacturing teams.

In this role, you’ll create SolidWorks CAD models, build complex sheet metal and welded assemblies, and translate scans into actionable parts.

Competenze

• 3+ years CAD design experience.
• SolidWorks experience required.
• Sheet metal and welded assemblies design.
• Manufacturing drawings experience.
• Automotive aftermarket experience is a plus.

Mansioni

• Create CAD models in SolidWorks daily from templates, parts, or your own designs.
• Build complex 3D sheet metal and tubular assemblies ready for manufacturing.
• Process 3D scans and create scanned mesh models for new product development.
• Partner with prototype engineering to move products into automation and production.
• Take open instructions on part and assembly revisions and implement them.
