Horsepower Automotive Group in Chandler, AZ is seeking a CAD Designer Lead to turn bold ideas into manufacturable reality for the off-road aftermarket. You will create CAD models in SolidWorks, build complex sheet metal and tubular assemblies, and collaborate with prototype engineers to move products from design to production.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years CAD design experience, SolidWorks proficiency, and experience with manufacturing drawings.

• Manufacturing drawing experience
• 3+ years CAD design experience

Responsibilities

• Create CAD models in SolidWorks daily — from templates, physical parts, or your own designs.
• Build complex 3D sheet metal and tubular assemblies ready for manufacturing.
• Process 3D scans and create scanned mesh models of vehicle data to drive new product development.
• Partner with the prototype engineering team to move new products into automation and production.
• Take open instructions on part and assembly revisions and run with them.
