Horsepower Automotive Group is seeking a CAD Designer Lead at our Chandler, AZ facility. You will own the design process for premium aftermarket bumpers and accessories, turning bold ideas into manufacturable products for real trucks.

You’ll work with an in-house prototype team to transition designs from CAD to fabrication, ensuring high-quality visuals and durable structures. The role emphasizes hands-on CAD work, collaboration with engineers, and delivering parts ready for laser-cutting,

Qualifications

• SolidWorks experience.
• Sheet metal and welded assemblies design experience.
• Manufacturing drawing experience.
• 3+ years CAD design experience.

Responsibilities

• Create CAD models in SolidWorks daily from templates, parts, or own designs.
• Build complex 3D sheet metal and tubular assemblies ready for manufacturing.
• Process 3D scans and create scanned mesh models for new product development.
• Partner with prototype engineering to move products into automation and production.
• Implement part and assembly revisions based on instructions.
