Horsepower Automotive Group, based in Chandler, AZ, is seeking a CAD Designer to turn bold ideas into manufacturable reality for high-performance off-road vehicles. You’ll create SolidWorks models, build complex sheet metal assemblies, and process 3D scans to drive new product development.

You’ll collaborate with prototype engineering to move parts from screen to production, ensuring accuracy and manufacturability.

Formación

• Strong SolidWorks skills and ability to design sheet metal and tubular parts.
• At least 1 year of experience designing automotive or aerospace products.
• Experience with tooling and fixtures and bringing a 3D model into physical reality.
• Ability to read, interpret, and produce measured drawings.
• Self-motivated, team-focused, and able to thrive in a fast-paced shop.

Responsabilidades

• Create CAD models in SolidWorks daily—from templates, parts, or original designs.
• Build complex 3D sheet metal and tubular assemblies for manufacturing.
• Process 3D scans and create scanned mesh models to drive new product development.
• Collaborate with prototype engineering to move products into production.
• Implement revisions and translate open instructions into manufacturable parts.
