Job summary

Charlie Mike Recruiting is seeking an experienced Senior CAD Designer to support commercial construction projects. You will develop precise CAD drawings, blueprints, and technical plans, collaborating with architects, engineers, and clients to ensure specifications are met.

The ideal candidate has a minimum of five years of CAD design in construction, strong knowledge of building codes, and proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a CAD Designer in the commercial construction industry.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, and other CAD software.
• Strong knowledge of commercial construction systems, materials, and installation methods.
• Understanding of building codes, construction standards, and safety regulations.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret construction documents and specifications.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Develop accurate CAD drawings, blueprints, and technical plans for commercial construction projects.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, project managers, and clients to ensure project specifications are met.
• Review and interpret architectural and engineering drawings related to construction systems.
• Ensure designs comply with building codes, safety regulations, and company standards.
• Utilize AutoCAD, Revit, or other industry programs to create detailed designs.
• Assist in material take-offs and cost estimations.
• Maintain detailed documentation of all drawings and revisions.
• Provide support during the construction phase, ensuring accuracy and resolving design issues.
