Overview

McKim & Creed is a leading top 150 ENR-ranked firm seeking an enthusiastic Senior CAD Designer to support Civil Engineering Water/Wastewater projects using AutoCAD Civil 3D. The role involves producing design and construction drawings in our Sarasota office as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Your Day-to-Day Will Include:

• Supporting designers and engineers with AutoCAD drawing development.
• Managing project assignments and coordinating with CAD staff.
• Producing plans, profiles, cross-sections, elevations, structure sections, and construction details.
• Managing CAD files for production, delivery, and archiving.
• Preparing drawings for team members and coordinating with external parties as needed.

What You Need:

• High school diploma or GED and college-level CAD coursework.
• 10+ years of experience with AutoCAD 2022 or newer.
• Methodical, precise, and adaptable to change.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Strong technical design skills.

What Will Make You Stand Out:

• Knowledge of Revit.
• Experience with water infrastructure projects.
