Overview

McKim & Creed, a top 150 ENR-ranked firm, is seeking an enthusiastic Senior CAD Designer to support AutoCAD Civil 3D projects related to Water/Wastewater civil engineering. The role involves producing design and construction drawings as part of a multidisciplinary team for exciting projects.

Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Support designers and engineers by developing AutoCAD drawing files within a project team setting.
• Manage project assignments and coordinate with other CAD staff.
• Produce plans, profiles, cross-sections, elevations, structure sections, construction details, references, and perspective drawings.
• Manage CAD drawing files for production, delivery, and archiving.
• Prepare drawings for various team members.
• Coordinate with external stakeholders as needed for project development.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, with college-level CAD coursework.
• 10+ years of experience using AutoCAD 2022 or newer.
• Methodical, precise, and consistent, with adaptability to changing work schedules.
• Ability to work independently and effectively within a team.
• Strong technical design skills.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of Revit.
• Experience with water infrastructure projects, such as water distribution and wastewater systems.
