Overview

Woolpert is seeking a Civil Engineering CAD Technician to join our dynamic Site Civil Team at our Miami, FL office.

Essential Functions

• Design and create site layout plans in alignment with client requirements and Woolpert standards.
• Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D to develop concept plans, grading plans, and site designs.
• Collaborate with project management teams to identify impediments and develop solutions.
• Perform site due diligence assessments and compile data and reports.
• Perform occasional field work, local travel, and overnight travel as needed.

Minimum Requirements

• Physical and mental capability to perform all essential duties.
• Above average verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, reports, and business documents.
• Proficiency in mathematical concepts, including geometry and trigonometry.
• Basic math skills applicable to practical situations.
• Bachelor's degree or four years of related experience.
• Experience with Autodesk Civil 3D.
• Interest and knowledge in hydrology and stormwater management.
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize workflow.
