HYSON seeks an experienced CAD/CAM Engineer to program CNC machines and turn customer and engineering drawings into production-ready designs and documentation. You will generate efficient cutter paths for multi-axis machines and create accurate 3D models for manufacturing.

The role requires collaborating with engineering, manufacturing, and customers to minimize lead times and ensure high quality. A strong background in GD&T, tooling, and CAD/CAM software is essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in manufacturing/engineering in tool and die or precision machining.

Responsabilités

• Program CNC machines, including multi-axis equipment, using 3D CAD/CAM software with accurate cutter paths.
• Analyze drawings to choose cutting tools, speeds, feeds, and strategies balancing cycle time and quality.
• Design manifold systems from customer information and produce 3D models and production prints for manufacturing.
• Review drawings for standards compliance and release final drawings to shop floor.
• Prepare and issue BOMs and drawings for components released to the shop.
• Maintain post processors and CAD/CAM databases to ensure repeatable outputs.
• Collaborate with customers on design problems and production feasibility.
• Plan, specify, justify, and procure new or upgraded tooling to improve productivity.
• Investigate root causes and document corrective actions.
