Job summary

Carollo Engineers, a leading water-focused engineering firm, seeks a senior BIM/VDC professional to lead and coordinate BIM standards, workflows, and project execution for water and industrial projects. You will manage designers, mentor staff, and collaborate with engineers to deliver accurate BIM outputs.

The role requires 10–15 years in pipeline/mechanical/process design, strong Autodesk and Bentley tool proficiency, and leadership experience within CAD/BIM teams.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in a related technical field.
• 10-15 years’ experience in Pipeline/Mechanical/Process Engineering design.
• Management and Supervisory experience with CAD/BIM Technicians.
• Proficiency with Autodesk software packages (AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks; Plant 3D) and Bentley/Intergraph tools.

Responsibilities

• Direct, organize and manage BIM Designers and Technicians for BIM/VDC delivery.
• Lead development of Corporate BIM standards and workflows.
• Develop project BIM execution plans.
• Coordinate BIM/VDC standards across industrial and water projects.
• Liaise with contractors, clients, vendors on BIM/VDC issues.
• Coordinate with other BIM managers to support workflows.
• Provide coaching to junior staff on BIM/VDC systems.
• Participate in interviewing and hiring BIM/CAD talent.
• Perform yearly reviews for BIM Designers and Technicians.
