CA CI, Melbourne, FL, is seeking a skilled Cable Technician to build and wire cables to IPC standards in a fast-paced environment. You will read drawings, pin Ethernet cables, crimp and solder, label cables, and follow work instructions to ensure high-quality builds. This role may require overtime and independent work.

Candidates should have 5+ years in cable build, IPC J-STD-001 and IPC 620 certifications, and awareness of FOD/ESD. Prior aerospace/defense exposure is a plus.

• 5+ years in cable build industry
• IPC J-STD-001 certification

• Ability to work in tight spaces requiring bending, crouching
• Self-starter requiring minimal supervision

Responsabilités

• Read drawings and wire diagrams
• Pinning ethernet cables to IPC industry standards
• Crimping pins to wire and pinning in connectors to IPC industry standards
• Soldering to IPC industry standards
• Labeling cables
• Follow work instructions and sign off steps
• Handle high workload at a fast pace with quality execution
• Work overtime if needed
• Perform work with minimal supervision
• Take on tasks outside of cable work
