Job summary

Synergy ECP is seeking an Uncleared Cable Technician to support IT cable installation and termination across diverse projects. The role involves leading cable runs for building or rack installations, creating run lists and schematics, and wiring from closets to customer access outlets.

We require 2–5 years of hands-on experience, ability to lift 50 pounds, and BICSI Installer 1 or 2 certification. Copper and fiber termination skills, testing, documentation, and compliance with industry standards

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of IT cable installation and termination experience.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform cabling work across sites.
• BICSI Installer 1 or 2 certification required; additional fiber/copper certs valued.

Responsibilities

• Lead cabling runs for building or rack installations.
• Create cable run lists and cabling schematics for connections.
• Install cabling from transport closets to customer outlets.
• Field terminate copper and fiber cabling and test against specs.
• Document labeling, configuration, and cable plant details.
