CACI International Inc in Melbourne, FL is seeking a cable technician to build cables and assemblies for defense programs. You will read drawings and wire diagrams, pin ethernet cables to IPC standards, and crimp/pin connectors with precision.

Responsibilities include soldering, labeling, following work instructions, and testing to verify builds. Overtime may be required; prior aerospace/defense exposure is beneficial. Strong IPC knowledge is essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in cable build industry.
• IPC J-STD-001 certification.
• IPC 620 certifications.
• FOD awareness.
• ESD awareness.

Responsabilités

• Ability to read drawings and wire diagrams.
• Pinning ethernet cables to IPC industry standards.
• Crimping pins to wire and pinning in connectors to IPC industry standards.
• Soldering to IPC industry standards.
• Labeling cables.
• Ability to follow work instructions and sign off steps.
• Ability to execute high workload at a fast pace with quality execution.
• Ability to work overtime if needed.
• Ability to perform work with no supervision.
• Ability to take on tasks outside of cable work.
