Job summary

Sherpa 6, Inc. seeks an experienced Network Engineer with a strong cybersecurity background to support the JIATF 401 C2 capability manager. You will translate operational C2 requirements into secure, interoperable network architectures across classified and unclassified domains.

Responsibilities include RMF/ATO leadership, eMASS documentation, and collaboration with mission partners to ensure secure, scalable, and resilient communications for tactical environments.

Qualifications

• Eight+ years of experience in network engineering and C2 systems integration.
• Strong cybersecurity engineering background with DoD-style networks.
• Experience with RMF, SSPs, and ATO processes.
• Ability to translate operational requirements into secure architectures.

Responsibilities

• Develop network diagrams, IP plans, and interface-control documents.
• Design and troubleshoot routing, switching, VLANs, firewalls, VPNs, SD-WAN.
• Support RMF lifecycle and eMASS packages.
• Coordinate with stakeholders across DoD environments.
• Lead cybersecurity and network test plans for lab and field environments.
• Prepare technical assessments and recommendations for leadership.
