Job summary

Sherpa 6 is seeking an experienced Network Engineer with strong cybersecurity background to provide direct technical support to the JIATF 401 C2 Capability Manager. You will translate operational C2 requirements into a secure, interoperable network architecture and lead RMF/eMASS activities.

The role requires on-site work in the National Capital Region with travel up to 50% and an Active Top Secret clearance with eligibility for SCI access.

Qualifications

• Eight or more years of experience in network engineering, C2 systems integration, cybersecurity engineering, information assurance.
• Demonstrated experience supporting DoD/C2 systems and tactical networks.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, routing, switching, VLANs, firewalls, VPNs, segmentation, wireless networking, and enterprise network services.
• Ability to translate operational requirements into technical architecture and brief risks to senior leaders.

Responsibilities

• Develop network diagrams, IP address plans, and interface-control documents.
• Design and troubleshoot routing, switching, VLANs, firewalls, VPNs, SD-WAN, SATCOM, and tactical interfaces.
• Design secure architectures connecting sensors, C2 platforms, data fabrics, and authorized effectors.
• Support C2 integration with NIPRNet, SIPRNet, tactical networks, and Mission Partner Environments.
• Lead RMF processes and develop eMASS authorization packages (SSP, POA&Ms, SARs).
• Coordinate RMF activities with system owners, ISSMs/ISSOs, and vendors.
