Job summary
Insight Global is seeking a C++ Software Engineer for a 9-month contract, onsite in Dallas, TX or Atlanta, GA. You will design and develop software and automate BDD scenarios, owning the solution from design to delivery within a fast-paced team.
Requirements include a Bachelor's in CS/CE or related field, 5+ years in modern C++ on Windows, 3+ years Python, and experience with Cucumber/Behave/Gherkin for test automation; familiarity with TCP/IP networking and Atlassian tools.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in CS/CE or related field or equivalent industry experience.
- 5+ years of C++ experience on Windows (Modern C++11+).
- AI experience (agentic development) is preferred.
- Understanding of object-oriented programming concepts.
- 3+ years of Python experience; ability to produce technical designs for software.
- Test automation experience using Cucumber, Behave, Gherkin.
- Networking/TCP-IP concepts; capable of troubleshooting without protocol development.
- Familiarity with the Atlassian tool suite.
