Job summary

AspenTech is seeking a senior Developer to join the Enterprise Operations Platform (EOP) organization. You will contribute as a senior technical resource in an Agile team, mentor engineers, and translate designs into scalable solutions that surface plant-floor data to the cloud.

You will design, implement, and maintain high-quality, secure systems, drive CI/CD practices, and collaborate with Architects and stakeholders to deliver data-centric platforms that enable automation for AspenTech's

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 8–12 years of related experience or an advanced degree with less experience.
• Strong understanding of cloud-native technologies, services, architecture, and container orchestration.
• Proficient in designing and implementing RESTful APIs.
• Experience with SAFe or Scrum agile frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Provide architectural direction and mentorship across a scaled Agile team.
• Translate high-level designs into scalable, maintainable implementations.
• Design high-quality, reliable, and secure systems to meet business objectives.
• Lead CI/CD pipelines for on‑premises and cloud infrastructure.
• Maintain software products in an Agile environment and monitor performance.
