Job summary

Jefferies is seeking a senior C#/SQL developer to join the Global Equities Prime Services Backoffice technology team in New York. You will work on the firm’s global equities trading systems, focusing on the Backoffice Swaps Desk platform and trade processing models in a fast-moving environment.

The role combines ~30% support and ~70% development, with emphasis on order management and real-time P&L. Strong C#, WPF/WinForms, SQL, TDD and superb communication are essential for client-facing work.

Qualifications

• Senior level development experience in C#/SQL with GUI tech (WPF/WinForms).
• Experience in trading/OMS and real-time risk concepts is preferred.
• Strong communication and client-facing abilities are required.
• 10+ years programming and 5+ years in financial services preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop global Backoffice system for Prime Services Swaps Desk.
• Build out regional variations and product types for Swaps.
• Provide day-to-day support for applications and trading desks.
• Communicate with Swaps, Operations, middle office and other tech teams.
