Job summary

Leading proprietary trading firm in Philadelphia is seeking two senior engineers to join the performance-focused services layer between trading front ends and core systems.

You will design and build order-flow and trading-path services in C#/.NET and Java, focusing on latency and throughput to maximize efficiency of the trading stack.

On-site five days a week with an annual WFH day bank; trading, FIX or market-data background is a plus for the right candidate.

Qualifications

6–12+ years of professional software development.
Strong C#/.NET and/or Java skills.
Experience building high-performance, multithreaded backend services; trading background a plus.

Responsibilities

Design and build order-flow and trading-path services in C#/.NET and Java.
Optimize performance, latency and reliability of the middle tier.
Integrate front-end trading applications with core trading systems.
Own services in production, from design through support.
