Job summary

GE Vernova in Roanoke, VA is seeking a software engineer to define, develop, and evolve software in a fast-paced Agile environment. You will lead a team of 5–7, translate product vision into prioritized user stories, and collaborate with architects on multi-generation software plans.

Responsibilities include driving design discussions, ensuring code quality, and transferring knowledge across the team. A Bachelor's in CS or STEM and 3 years C#/.NET experience are required; 1+ year leading

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or STEM majors.
3 years of experience in developing C# / .NET applications.
1+ years of leading software projects in industrial

Responsibilities

Define, develop, and evolve software in an Agile environment.
Provide hands-on leadership to an Agile team of 5–7 members.
Partner with PLLs to translate vision into prioritized user stories.
Develop multi-generation software technology plans.
Eliminate duplication and drive process improvements.
Work cross-functionally to align technical activities with business deliverables.
Drive world-class quality with rigorous testing techniques.
Architect and implement core data structures and algorithms.
Facilitate transfer of domain knowledge across the team
