Job summary

DRW in Chicago is seeking an outstanding Software Engineer with expertise in C++ to join our Core Infrastructure team. You will design, develop and maintain our low-latency trading platform deployed globally, working on order routing, market data and risk systems.

The role requires at least 5 years of high-availability C++ experience, multi-threading skills, and strong English communication. We offer a competitive salary, discretionary bonus, and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience developing high-availability systems in C++ with tight latency constraints.
• Background in multi-threaded programming and hardware/software interaction.
• Skilled in performance tuning (Linux, socket I/O, etc.) and troubleshooting.
• Experience with C++ libraries like STL and Boost.
• Knowledge of C++23 standards and opinions about them.
• Experience on challenging projects such as building a custom compiler, a matching engine, or handling large real-time data.

Responsibilities

• Join DRW's Core Infrastructure team to design, develop and maintain the low-latency trading platform deployed globally.
• Work on areas of the technical stack including order routing, market data and risk systems.
