MANNARINO Systems & Software Inc. is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to contribute to development, integration, and delivery of software for in-flight entertainment systems. You will work with multidisciplinary teams to build reusable components and reliable solutions on Linux and Android.

You will participate throughout the software lifecycle, from requirements to release, and help automate tests and improve processes. On-site in Irvine, CA, with a culture focused on quality and growth.

Qualifications

• Strong experience with modern C++, focusing on performance and multithreading.
• Proficient in Linux systems programming.
• Experience developing or integrating software on Android-based systems.
• Familiar with GitLab and CI/CD workflows.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum environments and collaborative development.
• Ability to produce clear, maintainable documentation.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain C++ software for Linux and Android-based systems.
• Develop reliable services with proper error handling, timeouts, retries, logging, and telemetry.
• Create and maintain reusable components, libraries, APIs, and interfaces.
• Integrate components and troubleshoot complex application and system-level issues.
• Support automated, regression, and integration testing; resolve defects.
• Analyze and optimize performance, memory, and reliability.
• Participate in code reviews and continuous improvement of software quality.
• Collaborate in an Agile/Scrum environment across multiple teams.
