Job summary

Katalyst CRO seeks an experienced embedded Android software engineer to design, develop, and optimize Android AOSP platform software for next-generation in-flight entertainment systems. You will work across hardware and software teams to integrate platforms, troubleshoot performance, and ensure production-quality code.

Qualifications

• Requires 10+ years of embedded software development experience.
• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, electronics, embedded systems, or related discipline.
• Strong Android AOSP and embedded Linux expertise with C/C++, Java/Kotlin, HAL and BSP integration, display and multimedia systems.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, integrate, and optimize Android AOSP platform software for in-flight entertainment systems.
• Collaborate across hardware and software teams to integrate platforms and troubleshoot performance.
• Test production-quality software and support CI/CD and release processes.
• Support validation, security, DRM, and IFE systems as needed.
