MANNARINO Systems & Software Inc. in Irvine, CA seeks a Senior Python Engineer to design, develop, and maintain backend services for In-Flight Entertainment related software. You will build reliable Python apps, create REST APIs, and ensure robust testing and quality across development workflows.

You will collaborate with DevOps, data and cross-functional teams in an Agile environment, implementing best practices and scalable solutions. On-site role with a competitive salary and benefits package.

Qualifications

• Strong Python 3.x fundamentals with type hints and typing module.
• Object-oriented design, clean abstractions and SOLID principles.
• Experience building backend services and REST APIs.
• Proficient in unit testing with pytest and mocking techniques.
• Familiarity with GitLab workflows and version control.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum environments and code reviews.
• Ability to write readable, maintainable and testable code.
• Experience debugging in integrated systems and CI/CD familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain Python backend services.
• Develop and maintain REST APIs with validation and error handling.
• Create comprehensive unit tests and automated test suites.
• Troubleshoot defects and implement long-term fixes.
• Participate in peer code reviews and improve software quality.
• Support data-processing and analytics within the software env.
• Collaborate in an Agile/Scrum team across design to release.
