Job summary

Intercontinental Exchange, Inc. seeks a Senior C/C++ Developer in New York to design and build high-throughput trading systems. You will own end-to-end development from requirements to production support, including integrating low-latency routing applications, matching engines, and back-end systems.

You will also develop and productionize ML models to boost inference performance. The role requires 5+ years in C/C++ on Linux, strong multithreading skills, and knowledge of network protocols.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or engineering.
• 5+ years hands-on C/C++ development on Linux.
• 2+ years scripting (e.g., Python, Perl, Bash).
• Experience with C++ unit testing frameworks and CI tools.
• Experience with code analysis and coverage tools such as Coverity, Valgrind, and gcov.
• Experience with gradient boosting or deep learning models is a plus.
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP and multicast network protocols.
• Strong multithreading and performance-oriented programming skills.
• Proficiency with AI-assisted coding tools and prompting techniques.

Responsibilities

• Analyze requirements and propose technical solutions delivering projects within cost, time, and quality targets.
• Work with project managers to build work breakdown structures and provide estimates.
• Develop and unit test new or modified functionality following best practices.
• Collaborate with developers and QA on integration, testing, and defect resolution.
• Promote software changes across environments safely and to production.
• Provide on-call technical support during business hours and on rotation.
• Contribute to team exercises identifying continuous improvements.
