Job summary

Intercontinental Exchange, Inc. is seeking a Senior Developer to join the core infrastructure team. You will design, develop, and maintain components of the ICE Trading Platform in a fast-paced environment with high throughput and low latency requirements.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of C++ experience, strong STL knowledge, and the ability to collaborate with product managers, QA, and other stakeholders to deliver a world-class platform.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 3+ years of C++ development experience.
• Experience with multithreaded, low-latency/high-throughput systems.
• Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, maintain and support components of the ICE Trading Platform.
• Follow team guidelines for quality and consistency in development phases.
• Independently handle builds and deployments.
• Create design documentation for new software development.
• Provide production support and deployment support during maintenance windows.
• Identify opportunities to improve and optimize applications.
• Collaborate with business analysts or product management on new requirements.
• Follow company software development processes and standards.
