Job summary

Point Three Group in New York City seeks a Trading Systems Engineer to design, implement and maintain low-latency trading infrastructure across equities and derivatives. You will work with traders and quantitative researchers to deploy strategies, optimize performance from hardware to software, and stay current with C++ developments in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

The role requires 5+ years in C++ and Linux, strong OO design, and experience with network programming.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years building performant, scalable C++ systems for low-latency trading.
• Experience in Linux environments.
• Strong OO design and programming skills.
• Familiarity with TCP/IP, UDP, multicast, and multi-threaded apps.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, implementation, and maintenance of large-scale, low latency trading systems.
• Collaborate with traders and quantitative researchers to deploy trading strategies.
• Analyze and improve system performance, including end-to-end optimizations from hardware to software to ensure reliability and scalability.
• Stay up to date on the latest developments in technology and C++ programming language.
