Job summary

LockheedMartin - Greenville Production Team is seeking a C-130J Flightline Technician Level III to inspect, maintain, and deliver aircraft to customers. You will work hands-on with aircraft systems and powerplants, ensuring each aircraft meets exacting standards before release.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting, functional checks, system documentation, and cross-functional collaboration with engineering, quality, and logistics while following strict safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Citizenship: U.S. citizen with ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.
• Experience: Typically 8+ years as a flightline technician on C-130 or similar aircraft with Level III responsibilities.
• Technical knowledge: Thorough understanding of landing-gear, powerplant, flight-control, fueling, and movement systems.
• Vision: Ability to meet job-specific vision requirements: close, peripheral, depth perception, focus.
• Physical demands: Comfortable in high-vibration environments, able to lift and stand for long periods in PPE.
• Safety: Commitment to safety practices and occupational health regulations.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair C-130J systems and powerplants per procedures and standards.
• Perform functional checks on primary subsystems: landing gear, powerplants, flight controls, fueling, movement.
• Document work in maintenance tracking systems and update records.
• Collaborate with engineering, quality, and logistics to resolve complex issues and drive improvements.
• Adhere to PPE rules and lockout/tagout procedures; support mission-essential functions.
