Job summary

JSfirm, LLC seeks an Aircraft Mechanic III (C-130 Flightline) to perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on airframes, power plants, and related systems. The role involves leading a maintenance team, inspecting and repairing complex systems, and ensuring NAMPSOP/NALCOMIS documentation is accurate.

Candidates should have 7+ years in maintenance with 4+ years on C-130 platforms, be eligible for DoD CAC access, and hold an A&P or equivalent credentials.

Qualifications

• Seven years troubleshooting and repair experience with four years on C-130 platforms.
• Must obtain DoD CAC access; CDQAR qualification within 90 days of hire.
• High school diploma or equivalent; Navy Class C school completed.
• Powerplants experience and corrosion control knowledge advantageous.
• Valid state driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team in aircraft maintenance, inspections, and scheduled/unscheduled tasks.
• Repair engines, powertrain and related mechanical systems to meet mission needs.
• Inspect, disassemble, repair, and reassemble components; document work per MRCs/NALCOMIS.
• Perform preflight, daily, and post-flight inspections; ensure compliance with NAMPSOPs.
• Cross-train on MV-22 platform and supervise jacking and towing of aircraft.
