Job summary

JSfirm, LLC is seeking an Aircraft Mechanic I with C-130 airframes experience to perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance across airframe, power plants, corrosion control, painting, and related fuel systems. You will inspect, repair, and service aircraft, support flight line operations, and document work as directed.

The role requires a DoD CAC, a valid driver’s license, and 4+ years of related repairs or an A&P license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• DoD CAC card privileges required.
• 4 years experience troubleshooting and repair on C-130 or equivalent (Airframe/Power Plant).
• Must complete Navy Skills Specialty Class “C” for airframes MOS/NEC/AFSC.
• Proof of Aircraft Paint/Touch Up course or equivalent.
• Experience with sheet metal, fiberglass, and composites.
• Knowledge of corrosion control and aircraft painting techniques.
• Valid State Driver’s License.
• Cross-train on MV-22 aircraft platform.

Responsibilities

• Wash and clean aircraft exterior and components.
• Perform pre/post wash lubrication and corrosion control.
• Repair sheet metal, structural, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.
• Troubleshoot malfunctions in aircraft structures and systems.
• Repair/rebuild aircraft structures using tools and equipment.
• Conduct preflight and post-flight maintenance inspections.
• Supervise jacking and towing and document work performed.
• Service airframe components at line station to keep aircraft safe.
• May require FAA license or special certifications as applicable.
• May require cross-training on MV-22 platform.
