Job summary

Hydro is seeking a Senior Buyer in Spanish Fork, UT to own spend and plant responsibilities, provide sourcing and supplier base management expertise, and drive cost-effective procurement strategies across the site. The role includes onboarding new products, pricing control, and cross-functional project coordination.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required; degree in Business or a related field preferred.
5 years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or a technical manufacturing role.
Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
Strong analytical, organizational and data interpretation skills.

Responsibilities

Develop and own the annual Procurement Plan for Spanish Fork and assigned spend categories.
Deliver procurement support for the Spanish Fork location and departments.
Drive cost savings initiatives in collaboration with operations and maintenance teams.
Evaluate suppliers on cost, quality and risk; select alternates as needed.
Negotiate contracts and manage supplier performance and compliance.
