Job summary

Curtiss-Wright Corporation in Chanhassen, MN, is seeking a Senior Buyer to execute complex procurement activities for high-value materials and services. You will negotiate terms, manage POs, and drive supplier performance to meet cost, quality, and delivery goals.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in business or engineering, 4–6 years in strategic procurement, ERP proficiency, and a track record of cost savings in a manufacturing setting. US Persons only.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field.
• 4-6 years of strategic procurement, contract negotiations, supplier management.
• Manufacturing environment experience.
• Proficiency with ERP systems.
• Demonstrated negotiation with measurable cost savings or value creation.
• Experience supporting complex programs or engineered products.

Responsibilities

• Execute end-to-end procurement activities for complex, high-value materials and services.
• Negotiate and administer complex purchase orders and agreements.
• Issue POs, purchase change orders and RFQs to suppliers.
• Ensure compliance with applicable regulations concerning purchase or shipment of goods/services.
• Drive supplier selection and conduct supplier site visits; rate capability, performance and delivery.
• Manage supplier relationships and performance with cost, quality, and delivery metrics.
• Address issues and escalate as needed; resolve invoice discrepancies.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, planning, and engineering to align with program schedules.
• Drive cost reduction initiatives and continuous improvement.
