Yoh Life Sciences seeks an experienced Senior Buyer for an on-site role in Rancho Cordova, CA. The contract position focuses on procurement efficiency, supplier negotiation, and cross-functional collaboration with an emphasis on cost savings.

You will oversee purchasing for supplies, equipment, and services with autonomy while mentoring junior buyers and ensuring compliance with AFC policies. The role offers a challenging environment with a strong emphasis on process improvement.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in related field with 9–13 years of experience, or Master’s with 7–11 years, or equivalent.
• Strong negotiation and procurement process skills.
• Ability to mentor junior buyers and lead cross-functional initiatives.

Responsabilidades

• Lead procurement operations and sourcing activities to deliver cost savings.
• Represent Purchasing on cross-functional teams (capital projects, IPTs, software implementations).
• Identify opportunities to improve purchasing policies and procedures.
• Develop procurement plans and implement processes and methods.
• Negotiate vendor contracts and service agreements for cost savings.
• Partner with management to review initiatives and recommend improvements.
• Mentor and train staff on procurement knowledge.
• Ensure purchasing activities comply with AFC policies.
• Lead business reviews with key suppliers as needed.
• Support SHE policies and report hazards as required.
