Responsibilities include sourcing strategy development, price/contract negotiations, ERP/MRP PO management, and supplier performance monitoring to mitigate risks. 8AM-5PM, 5+ month contract, on-site.

Qualifications

• Requires negotiation skills and attention to detail.
• 5+ years of purchasing/procurement in regulated manufacturing (medical devices, biotech, pharma).
• Experience with direct materials and contract manufacturers.
• Familiarity with FDA-regulated environments and supplier quality.Requirements for ERP/MRP systems such as Oracle, SAP, NetSuite, or JD Edwards.

Our client, a leader in medical device manufacturing, is seeking a Buyer, Senior to join their team. As a Buyer, Senior, you will be part of the Procurement Department supporting Manufacturing and Engineering teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong negotiation skills, attention to detail, and proactive problem-solving abilities, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Sr. Buyer

Location:Pleasanton, CA (100% On-Site)

Pay Range:$41/hr. - $45/hr.

Duration:5+ Month contract with potential to extend

Shift:8AM - 5PM

What's the Job?

• Manage procurement activities for direct materials, components, assemblies, and indirect goods/services supporting medical device manufacturing.

What's Needed?

• 5+ years of purchasing, sourcing, or procurement experience within a regulated manufacturing environment such as medical devices, biotechnology, or pharmaceuticals.
