Job summary

Gradian, an engineering-led provider of liquid cooling and thermal management solutions, is seeking a Buyer/Senior Buyer-Planner in Maple Grove, MN to ensure material availability for production and oversee strategic purchasing.

You will partner with Engineering, Production, Materials, Sourcing, and Operations to forecast demand, manage procurement, and improve supplier performance while maintaining ERP data integrity and inventory health.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field preferred.
• 3–5 years in purchasing or supply chain in manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of MRP, ERP, and supplier management.
• Proficiency with Excel and Microsoft Office.
• Senior level may require 5–8+ years and leadership in procurement.

Responsibilities

• Issue, manage, and maintain purchase orders to approved suppliers.
• Develop and maintain material requirements plans based on production schedules.
• Monitor supplier performance and drive improvements in delivery, quality, and reliability.
• Own planning and procurement for assigned commodities, components, and raw materials.
• Drive inventory optimization and define KPIs for supplier performance and planning.
