Job summary

Gradian, a leading thermal solutions partner in Maple Grove, MN, seeks a Director of Strategic Sourcing to build and lead a high-performing team driving capacity, cost competitiveness, and risk mitigation for hyperscale data center cooling products.

You will partner with Engineering, Operations, and leadership to align sourcing with roadmaps and scale rapidly, while embedding governance and continuous improvement across supplier networks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in a relevant field required.
• 10+ years in strategic sourcing, procurement, or supply chain leadership.
• Proven ability to build and scale procurement organizations and teams.
• Experience with long-term supply agreements, MSAs, MOUs, and other contracts.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration with Engineering, Operations and Leadership.

Responsibilities

• Establish and lead a strategic sourcing organization to support rapid growth.
• Define and execute sourcing strategies to secure capacity and continuity.
• Build, mentor, and scale a high-performing sourcing team.
• Negotiate pricing, capacity agreements, and supplier contracts at executive level.
• Govern sourcing processes, metrics, and supplier performance for excellence.
